Pierre Sanchez is a bee-keeper living nearby l'Isle sur la Sorgue. His production is very limited, and has always been made with respect for its bees, with priority given to their needs before the number of jars filled.

Pierre's "all flowers" honey is amber and pretty tasty, fruity and lightly spicy. It is an "all-purpose" honey, which can be spread and cooked. As with our wines, honey production varies from year to year, but in general this honey is available in the cellar all year round. According to its evolution, this honey passes from the liquid state to a slightly creamier stage, then solid, this crystallization being a normal and natural phenomenon. Good to know: if it is pleasant to sweeten a hot drink with honey, it loses some of its properties with heat.
