The Rhône Valley vineyard extends from Vienne to Avignon covering an area of ​​more than 70,000 hectares, of which around 44,000 are AOC Côtes du Rhône. A distinction is made between the northern, or northern, Rhône Valley and the southern, or southern Rhône Valley. The annual production of the Rhone vineyard is around 3.5 million hectoliters and produces the 3 colors of wine: red, rosé and white. Less than a third of the wines come from private cellars.
