Being the flagship of the Coyeux estate, the Muscat de Beaumes de Venise is produced on different contiguous plots, grouped together over 42 hectares. Production is around 25 hl / hectare. The oldest vines will soon be 65 years old.
The aging of this Muscat de Beaumes de Venise includes an aging period of a few months, in stainless steel vats at a constant temperature, to which is added a second period of 6 to 8 months in the bottle. This second period releases other, finer aromas, for the pleasure of connoisseurs.
This Beaumes de Venise from the Coyeux estate should be served very chilled (6 to 8°C). In addition to tasting as an aperitif, it goes perfectly with your meals:
Starter: melons, foie gras and hot oysters.
Cheese: blue-veined cheeses (Roquefort, Stilton, etc.)
Dessert: coffee cakes, red fruit gratins, pineapple puff pastries with raspberry coulis.
